This ensemble is perhaps the most visual performing group at Santa Teresa High School. The marching band explores high quality music literature with the addition of motion and visual impact. The band performs at select home football games and marching competitions.
The STHS Marching Band and Color Guard competes in Class 2A in the Western Band Association circuit.

Band Camp
Summer Band Camp:
Our award-winning Marching Band and Color Guard program is a rewarding opportunity to work with fellow musicians and guard members to gain experience as a team in a competitive environment. This is a commitment of your time and begins with Summer Band Camp! During these two weeks, you will learn the 2026 season show music, marching performance techniques and basic drills. Join us to kickoff the exciting new season and meet new friends before the school year starts!
Summer Band Camp is a great way to meet other students in the program so you’ll already know some before the first day of school! The all-day camp will be held during the last two weeks of July.
Band Camp 1st Week: July 20 – 25, 9am – 8pm
Band Camp 2nd Week: July 27– August 1, 9am – 8pm
Location: Meet at the band room on the first day of camp.
Bring: a large water bottle, hat, sunscreen, food or money for lunch/dinner breaks, comfortable clothes and shoes, and instrument/accessories (ST will provide an instrument if you do not have one).
When – Band Camp Blocks:

12pm – 1pm Lunch
1pm – 4pm Rehearsal
4pm – 5pm Dinner
5pm – 8pm Rehearsal

Camp is required. If you will miss any camp dates, a parent/guardian should contact the band director in advance so that you may be excused.
Last Day of Band Camp August 1, 2026: Mandatory parent meeting, student showcase, and a friends and family BBQ. Starts at 3:30pm in the Theater.
